Suzan Tingwa is a Finance Officer. She has served in this capacity since 2015. Prior to joining Eve Organization, Ms. Tingwa has worked in different capacities in the field of gender; youth empowerment, peacebuilding and education with institutions such as Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE), the Catholic Relief Service (CRS) and the Free voice Foundation Sawa Shabab Project. Apart from her administrative and finance role, Ms. Tingwa has been very supportive of Eve’s program team. She has played an instrumental role in leading one of the biggest women non-violent demonstrations for peace – the women’s silent march in Juba during the 16 days of activism in 2017. She is also one of the co-founders of inspire a sister initiative, a network of young professional south Sudanese ladies who are willing to harness their skills, expertise and experience towards empowering other girls. Ms. Tingwa holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and Management and is an Alumni of the US Institute for Student Leaders on Women’s Leadership (SUSI) 2015 at the University of Delaware, USA.
